Wolverine Venture Fund - Student Participation

MBA students on the Fund's Student Advisory Board conduct the Wolverine Venture
Fund's deal evaluation, due diligence, and portfolio tracking.
The Fund meets weekly to review and discuss investment
opportunities and have educational sessions. Students conduct outside
research and due diligence, and meet with the
Advisory Board of venture capitalists and entrepreneurs on a semi-annual basis.
First-year MBA participants are selected in September
by existing student members of the Fund and the managing
director. The application process consists of a personal
written statement and resume followed by interviews. The Fund encourages male and female students
with diverse backgrounds to apply, including those with
technical, marketing, science, legal, or start-up experience.
Individuals who are selected and successfully complete the course receive a grade and course credit.

The Wolverine Venture Fund is seeking approximately
15-20 first year MBAs to serve on
the Fund's Student Advisory Board for 2012-2014.
The application includes a resume and a 1-3 page personal
statement that addresses the questions found on the application (PDF).
