The Social Venture Fund is seeking approximately 8-10 first and second year MBA students to join the fund’s core leadership team and up to 20 associates to provide the portfolios with deal sourcing, due diligence and marketing support. Fund leads will be required to spend between 5-10 hours per week, which includes time at the weekly core and sub-team team meetings, the required impact investment course, and all related projects and assignments. Associates will spend up to 5 hours per week, including time at portfolio meetings and on related projects. Both positions are for the full academic year.
All SvF members are expected to collaborate with professionals from the University and business practitioners. These include, among others, faculty, students, board members, social metrics professionals, social entrepreneurs, and professionals in the social VC industry.
How to Apply
Information sessions will be held on September 8 at 7:30 a.m. in room R2220 and 4:30 p.m. in room R2210 for
interested students to learn more. Students are not required
to attend an information session in order to apply.
The application deadline for the 2010-11 academic year has passed.
Selection Process
Applicants will be notified by email regarding their status
within the selection process. Interviews may vary in format.
Final decisions will be made in October.
