Samuel Valenti III is Executive Chairman of TriMas Corporation and Chairman and CEO of Valenti Capital, an investment firm in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. 

He also serves as President of Masco Capital Corporation, a subsidiary of Masco Corporation, a Fortune 500 manufacturer of homebuilding and home improvement products.

Mr. Valenti is the former chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee of the $50 billion State of Michigan Retirement System. He serves on the Harvard Business School Advisory Council and the Advisory Council at the University of Notre Dame.
