Mr. Mondry is Founder and President of M Group, a real estate investment and development company based in Birmingham, Michigan. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's investment and development activity.
In February of 2009, Mr. Mondry was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Michigan Strategic Fund by Governor Jennifer Granholm. He also serves as a member of the Board of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy and the Advisory Board of the Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Michigan. He is a Board Member of Challenge Detroit, an organization focused on the revitalization of Detroit. Mr. Mondry is a former member of the Board of the Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit, a past President of the Michigan Venture Capital Association and a former director of Paramount Bank.
Prior to founding M Group, Mr. Mondry held the position of Vice President of Stores and Customer Service for Highland Superstores, Inc., a publicly held, 92-store chain of consumer electronics and appliance stores. He served as CEO of Teamplayers, a personnel staffing company headquartered in Michigan and a portfolio company of M Group prior to its sale in late 1998.
Mr. Mondry is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. He received his J.D. degree and M.B.A concurrently from the University of Michigan Law and Business schools. He received a B.A. in English, with Distinction, from the University of Michigan.
