Steven A. McKean is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Acceller, an Internet-based digital lifestyle services company founded in 1999 to serve the growing needs of the consumer broadband market. Through Mr. McKean’s leadership, Acceller has gained status as an Inc. 500 company with over $20M in revenue. Prior to founding Acceller, Mr. McKean was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of MEDWerks.com, an Application Service Provider (ASP) for medical claims adjudication and payment, founder and Director of 1hemisphere.com, a global, business-to-business trade, and commerce portal for small- and medium-sized businesses in Latin America, Master Franchisor for International Dairy Queen for Dade Confection, and Senior Business Consultant and Auditor at Arthur Andersen Consulting.

Mr. McKean is a recognized industry and business speaker and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and is on the Zell Lurie Entrepreneurial Institute Advisory Board at the University of Michigan. A Miami native, Mr. McKean holds a BBA and MA in Accounting from the University of Michigan and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Michigan.
