As Chairman and CEO of Acceller, Mr. McKean is the driving visionary behind the company’s unique comparison shopping and information platform for selling digital lifestyle services to consumers. Acceller is a two time winner of South Florida Business Journal Best Place to Work. Acceller sells to consumers though Digitallanding.com, an information-base for gaining digital lifestyle knowledge, and through channel partners including large PC OEM manufacturers and utilities.

Prior to founding Acceller, Mr. McKean was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of MEDWerks.com, an Application Service Provider (ASP) for medical claims adjudication and payment. In this role, Mr. McKean developed a business plan and financial model which secured $10 million in venture funding.

A recognized speaker, Mr. McKean has given presentations on business development, entrepreneurship and telecommunications technology at events that include Phone+ Expo, Cable Labs, Red Herring Venture South, University of Michigan Growth Capital Symposium, Florida Venture Forum, and the Consumer Electronics Show.

A Miami native, Mr. McKean serves on the Miami Children’s Hospital Board, Orange Bowl Committee, and is a member of the Young President’s Organization.

Mr. McKean holds a BBA and MAcc in Accounting from the University of Michigan and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Michigan.
