Marcel Gani currently teaches accounting and finance at the
Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. Most recently,
he held the position of Chief of Staff of Juniper Networks,
Inc., a California-based firm that builds high-end equipment
for routing traffic across the largest Internet backbones. Juniper
makes the “gear” for the major telephone companies
and Internet service providers that handle the bulk of Net traffic.
Mr. Gani joined Juniper as the company’s CFO from 1997-2004.
He was also responsible for Information Systems and Human Resources.
Prior to joining Juniper Networks, Mr. Gani served as Vice President
and CFO of NVIDIA Corporation, Grand Junction Networks, Primary
Access Corporation, and NeXT Computer, Inc. He has also worked
as Director of Finance at Cypress Semiconductor. Prior to Cypress,
he was a member of Intel’s finance group for twelve years.
Marcel Gani received an MBA from the University of Michigan
(1978). He comes originally from Switzerland and currently lives
in Palo Alto, California.
